Who We Are and What We Do
Scotties Rock Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charitable organization that raises funds to assist Scottish Terrier owners and rescue groups who have limited financial resources with veterinary care expenses. Our pay-it-forward concept engages recipients of that financial assistance in contributing toward the resources of the organization, when they are able, to in turn help others. Read more on the ABOUT US page. The Scotties Rock Foundation board also oversees the Scotties Rock social media Facebook site. Scotties Rock is a place for members to network, share news and accomplishments, receive condolences for loss of Scottie and other pet friends, learn about Scottie-related events... and so much more. The weekly Sunday morning Paw Up posts are a place for support of members and their loved ones (human and canine) facing illness or other challenges. |
How You Can Help
Scotties Rock Foundation receives no official funding nor does it receive money from any charitable grant. We are dependent upon the generosity of the public. Individual donors are our lifeline. We raise funds through twice-yearly Facebook auctions, sales of Scotties Rock-themed merchandise and items in our Zazzle Store, and through private one-time or monthly recurring donations. We are proud of our success! Since its establishment in late 2016 with a starting budget of approximately $850.00 Scotties Rock Foundation has raised and distributed $418,230.71 in member assistance to 272 dogs loved by 214 different owners

Scotties Rock Foundation has earned a Platinum Seal of Transparency- the highest ranking available- through nonprofit monitoring group GuideStar.

Our twice-yearly online Facebook auctions are our primary fundraising events,
however donations are gratefully accepted anytime.
Occurring in March and October, the auctions are are great way to support Scotties Rock Foundation. You can donate items for the auction, be an active high bidder and claim nice auction items as your own... or both! And, even better, the auctions are a lot of fun!
