We Need YOU to Help Us Help Scotties and Their Pawrents!

As we all know, quality vet care is very expensive... and it's not always affordable for those of us with many competing life pressures.  No one wants much loved canine family members to go without necessary treatment.  We are so grateful that our Scotties Rock family continues to be so generous in helping others who need a little hand up!  As they say, it takes a village!

We've described many ways to support SRF below and are always open-minded to your new ideas for fundraising, too.

Participate in Our Fundraising Auctions
Twice-yearly online Facebook auctions (in March and October) are the primary way through which we raise funds.

Make a Monetary Donation

You can donate through PayPal Giving Fund- with no fees to yourself or to SRF!  Use the button at the left to go to that link, select the amount you want to donate (either a preset amount or an amount of your choice), let us know who you are (click the box for "Share My Name and Email with This Charity") or opt remain anonymous.  You can also use this fund to automatically donate $1.00 (or an amount of your choice) when checking out using PayPal for any purchase if you have designated SRF as your charity of choice.  (Check your PayPal account for details.)
Sign up for a Network for Good account and select from a variety of donation options:
  • A one-time donation.
  • An automatic monthly, quarterly or annual donation.
  • Send a memorial donation. 
  • Create your own fundraiser for a birthday or other celebration.
Another option that might be convenient for you is to set up an automatic monthly payment through your bank using your bank's online bill pay system.  Start by exploring this option with your bank.

Employer Matching Gift Programs
Some employers offer "matching gift" donation program for their employees. Employees select a charity of their choice and make a donation and the
employer adds an equivalent amount to double it! Other employers allow employees to donate the cash value of unused leave or vacation time to a charity of their choice.
Check with your employer Human Resources Department to see if these are options for you!

Use Your Purchasing Power

Scotties Rock Foundation is pleased to report that we are now a member of the Chewy.com Shelter and Rescue Network.  For every new customer purchase made through Chewy's special SRF site Chewy will donate $20 to Scotties Rock Foundation.  (Limited to first time Chewy customers only and only once per household.) You must make that first-time purchase through the site linked to the button provided here. If you are not yet a Chewy customer please check out the link... and encourage your friends and relatives to do the same to help support SRF! U.S. customers only (sadly, Chewy does not ship outside the U.S.).

Donate a Scottie Collection
At times members who are downsizing or managing an estate  ask if SRF accepts Scottie collectibles and  collections.  Yes we do!  Scottie collections are great additions to our online auctions.  Donors of such items can be identified in the auction postings if they wish- or can choose to remain anonymous.  Contact SRF President, Penny Standley, for more information about donating a collection to SRF. 
Include a Planned Gift to SRF in Your Estate Plan
If you are interested in including SRF as a recipient of funds from your estate please let your lawyer or trustee of your will know.  Contact us at [email protected] or send a Facebook Private Message to SRF President, Penny Standley, for the information required to designate SRF as a beneficiary of your estate.  SRF is a 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization.
